Hello everyone,i was wondering does anybody know if it is possible to mirror geometry in sub-object mode like an element (without mirroring the hole object),when you are poly modeling something. Right now when i am trying to do so it is getting out of poly-edit mode and it mirroring the hole object. I also use blender for modeling and i find the fact that wile i am in edit mode i can copy elements and mirror the if i want without mirroring the hole object , to be very useful. Right now when i want to do this in 3dsmax i copy the element and detach it into a new object, select the new object mirror it , and then attach it back to the original mesh. I was wondering i anybody knows a better way.Thank you.

yeah, same here. I think it sucks, though, given the fact that the function is built in the edit spline modifier I dont see the reason why it shouldnt be in edit poly as well. Maybe the graphite tools have it now, but I hardly ever use them and havent had the time to check those yet...
