Koper
from 2500eu to 1700eu. So I'll probably sneak out of the office tomorrow to go get it, but.... why the HUGE drop in the price. Am I going to be the sucker when I go for it? are they bringing out something new? what's the scoop?? any one have an Idea?? I read an article states it is because of the Nokin:rolleyes: D700 and D800. http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2010/01/canon-5d-mark-ii-price-dropand-why.html luckily I've been a Canon fan for 8 years now, and all my equipment as well:D Any thoughts? Dave Buchhofer
wow, hell of a drop for a solid setup, I haven't seen too many complaints on it. i believe the current rumor is D700 replacement in June/July, D90 replacement in August.. so i'm guessing they're trying to snatch however many of the d700 replacements as they can before the new one is announced
Koper
thats what I'm also thinking. been finding some rumors about a possible 5d mkiii announcement at the end of the year, but when that time comes I'll deal with it. one can't always wait for the next best thing, and imo the 5d mkii is still the next best thing.
