Dave Buchhofer
I could have sworn i remember seeing a decent set of kids/children cutouts, looking around now though i can't seem to find it again! Options: Epictor has a children collection, but not many are suitable for my current needs http://www.epictor.com/#navbar=productdetail%2FCutOut_entourage_Children%2FBundleID-8 there are a couple Lowpolygon3d kids, but they're pretty monstrous as anything except far background same goes for the old RPC collection. some may be usable, but looking back they appear to be charging for the Photoshop plugin now ($149?) which I may or may not feel like paying due to the horrific software they've had a history of doing. I've managed to avoid rpc for quite a few years now... so, are there any other options that I'm missing?
BrianKitts
I've got a two of the Dosch libraries for kids that I really like... both aren't specifically children, but have alot in the them. http://www.doschdesign.com/products/vizimages/People_Hospital_Kids.html http://www.doschdesign.com/products/vizimages/People_Family.html And also there's the image cell young people library, but the resolution and image quality are sub-par compared to dosch. Still usable for medium to far distances http://www.imagecels.com/YoungPeople/young_people_thumbs.html The last classroom shots I did I also pulled some images from dreamstime.com to fill out the shot with book readers as well.... Dave Buchhofer
Thanks Brian, good call on the Dosch, i tend to forget about them as their site is unusably slow here at work. Talked to the Archvision guys about using the content we had purchased years ago, turns out that wont work now, we need to purchase access to the max plugin or the photoshop plugin. I guess thats just another case of being penalized for actually being legal about purchasing content. Reminding me of why we stopped using them to begin with. weak. wasteland giant
yes, my office has 3-4 sets of rpc people but we can no longer access/use them because of the need to buy "plugins" to use their content. Its alright though. Their 'product' looks old now. What with the, low resolution, powersuits and checked shirts circa 1980s and the yellow lighting. STRAT
nothing like the real thing.... i'd suggest to take your camera along to the school gates (or a kiddies playground even), and stand there during play times taking photos with your telephoto lens, discretely of course as you dont want to be seen showing off with your nice camera. oh yes, dont forget to wear a rain coat type mac incase the weather turns. Dave Buchhofer
haha, with large dark sunglasses of course. I actually have a couple subtables from my son and 4-6year old nephews, it looks like its going to be 'motionblurred' cutouts from the net for the rest as time allows for this one. though i think the dosch family and several of the Epictor collections are on the "to buy" list now. BVI
Check out dreamstime - you will need to cut them out, but it should help: http://www.dreamstime.com/search.php?s_ph=y&s_op=y&srh_field=kids+school&firstvalue=kids+school&lastsearchvalue=null&s_sm=all&s_st=new&memso=y&s_cf=0&s_catid=&s_cliid=&s_colid=&memorize_search=1&s_exc=&s_excp=&s_sp=&s_sl1=y&s_sl2=y&s_sl3=y&s_sl4=y&s_sl5=y&s_color1=&s_percent1=10&s_color2=&s_percent2=10&s_rsf=0&s_rst=7&s_clc=y&s_clm=y&s_orp=y&s_ors=y&s_orl=y&s_orw=y
