JonnyCache
Hello, I am currently looking for a internship in calgary around the lines of arc viz. So to strengthen my portfolio I am creating a couple arch viz shots. My first being a simple house. This was created in 3ds Max 2009 and Vray with only a couple minor post production work. The image is not in super high quality as it is for crit. Please let me know what you think, and what I can further do to improve it. I want my portfolio to be impressive so I welcome any opinions that have solutions with it. Thanks.
BobM
Hi Jonny Very nice house looks a litle washed out for me abd the biped does not enhance. It also looks like it is just a facade (No Back) when you look through the openings. More work like this will strengthen your portfolio Regards BobM
Jonathan Sanchez
Hey Lars....u r getting there...I myself would get rid of the blue man.. add some cloud/sky, work on the grass's material (too blue) and add more foliage
JonnyCache
thanks, I am still thinking about my options with the sky/clouds idea. I have tried several options before from hdri and sky domes, to just adding it in post-production ie photoshop. However I am not getting the results I want, as in either the sky does not fit with the forground at all or it darkens the scene to much. Heh, the blue man was just for scale reference. he won't be there int he fianl render.
