Ausmax
Hello, I am runnig 3ds Max 2010 with Bootcamp|Windows 7 on my imac and I am experiencing a few issues. 1. Max has started crashing, especially if I leave the machine for 5 minutes and come back to it. At this stage I have no extra plugins assigned to max that would slow it down. 2. I have some sought of memory error that is coming up on screen even though my file is not that big (a few lofts, planes and reference materials applied). There are a couple of planes that have materials applied. The problem is that I can't see these materials in the viewport. They render fine but will not appear in the viewport (I need them to because they are reference plans). There are other objects that have materials applied to them and they appear in the viewport but these new ones won't. This material problem I think is related to the memory issue even though the file is not big at all. Any thoughts, suggestions would be greatly appreciated - have deadline to meet! Thankyou. Ausmax
Hi, Max memory problem solved. Reinstalled max. Still need an answer to the problem of this material not showing in viewport. It is just an ordinary material - might post this in Max section of forum. Cheers
