paneli
Hello! I'm a Autocad 2008 and 3D Max 8 user. I would like to advance to Windows 7/Vista 64bit, and I would do so if both programs support 64 bit, which they don't. So, I advanced to Autocad 2009 and 3D Max 9 under Windows 7 x64 and also under Windows Vista 64x. Everything went smooth untill File Link Manager went crazy. In both versions of windows. In Autocad 2008 and 3D Max 8 it worked properly under windows XP. Autocad 2009 and 3D Max 9 it refuses to RELOAD the scene (when I make changes in autocad) after 2-3 times of reload. Any solution? Thanks! Coz I got 8 gigs of ram and I want to use them under 64 bit. (I once advanced to Windows XP Professional x64, but it works even worse than x32)
Justin Hunt
any reason for not going straight to the latest version of each software? Max9 is not officially supported on Win7. As to your problem you may need to install any service paces and or hot fixes for max9. there were a few issues if I remember correctly jhv
paneli
I did'nt mean only Windows 7. The problem (3D Max 9 + AutoCAD 2009/2008) also remains on Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Justin Hunt
either way install the service packs, also you may have to save the DWG's a dwg2007. jhb
