Anyone ever done a sun path analysis?

i have a client looking for one, easy enough to do but i've never priced for one before. Does anyone (uk preferably) have any experience of paying for or being paid for doing these kind of things? i would really appreciate a rough ball park figure to aim for.

I would bill it as an animation. An hourly fee for the modeling, and then $x per frame rendered.

yeah, i have more confidence billing clients for photo realistic work as i know it looks like it's worth the money but with these things the models are fairly crude and the final images are diagramatic.

 

Also, i've only ever billed for stills in the past, not too confident on animations.

I'd bill it like any other project, too. I'd charge for the time, it takes to make it.

yeah Philip that's the sort of thing i mean although it'll be produced in Max not Autocad. I guess there shouldn't be a difference in pricing, i just get uncomfortable putting large invoices in for basic block models used in this kind of thing.
