wasteland giant Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) [ATTACH=CONFIG]37178[/ATTACH] Hiya, tried to replicate the milled metal look of the above seat/table and I can't get the middle round bit to do the circular effect. Did a couple of different UVW maps - circular/shrink/box..etc also edited the middle and raised it a bit from the center and still no different. Any help would be greatly appreciated. mattclinch Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 your metal material needs to have anisotropy - you need to use a spiral gradient ramp in the anisotropy direction slot mapped to the top of the cylinder - this will create the spiralling brushed effect.
