Status of Industry?

Hey all. Like many out there I currently find myself out of work. So at the moment I'm on the outside. I'm just curious from those that are still in how are things looking. Does it look like companies will start hiring again soon? I've seen very few openings for dedicated arch vis people. Although I have seen a number of positions for draftsmen that as a plus could do visualizations. Are things headed that way...companies wanting to save money so they have the drafters do the visualizations as well?
