Whoa, that first thread went nuts especially at the end. I liked the way the mods handled it. Seriously entertaining though. There was a pretty annoying thing going on over at Vismasters recently, took the mods over there a very long time to get on top of it. Ahhh the internet, where even mentally unstable egomaniacs can rub shoulders with industry greats then cuss at them and threaten them.

Yep. Both of those people need a couple of years in architecture or art schools to learn the value and process of critique and review. It is important to hear what people say, and think about what it is they are saying, rather than simply getting offended that they are not gushing all over your work.

 

It is not an easy thing to do, but it is a very important thing to do.

 

I still get offended from time to time, I try to recognize, and step back and look at it from the critiques point of view.
