Crazy Homeless Guy
I think someone has posted a script, or link to a script in the past that allows you to bring a Max camera to Aftereffects. But, I can not seem to locate that post now, or find what I am looking for on the Google. If anyone remembers this, can you help me out and point me in the right direction? Thanks. BrianKitts
The cheaper option would be to just hide all your geometry (for quick rendering) and render out an RPF sequence, just for the purpose of extracting the camera.... Drop the sequence on the timeline, right click on it and under keyframe assistant, select RPF camera export. Also when you're working with your max camera path in AE, this script is a huge time saver for getting perfect coordinates for placing objects in AE 3D space relative to your camera paths..... http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/after-effects-animated-position-exporter Edited May 24, 2010 by BrianKitts
