accepted standards for Environmental impact Statement Viz work General Query

I'm starting to look into what existing institutional standards are out there in the field of EIS or Visual Impact Statement visualization production. Can anyone point me to some sites with some info on this.

 

Basically I am looking to be able to assert that the work undertaken conforms to some generally accepted standard required in certain jurisdictions in order to reassure potential clients that the work is as accurate as is required by certain planning authorities elsewhere. I'm not aware of any standards in any of the jurisdictions I've worked in to date.
