psyanide
Still, he thinks he might have done better without the extra commuting. "I prefer to get a little rest on the days before a big race," he said. LOL!

Ernest Burden III
Mike Have you considered moving closer to work? Is that 70 miles roundtrip? That isn't so bad, I'm 35 miles from NYC--but work one floor above my bedroom. That's why I have to have a mountain bike to commute--stairs are tough. How big is Hawaii--can you go 70 miles without getting wet?
mzagorski
total distance around my island including a section off-road is about 135 miles I think. Around the island all on Road is about 115 or so. There are a few roads to keep my busy... Can't really move closer to work. Wife is at university on the opposite side of the island that I work on - mind you, maybe I can get her to ride to uni Might sound easy that I just jetted off to Hawaii.. but man did it take a lot of time and money. First thing I had to do was get a 4yr degree related to the job I'd be doing in the states, then prove that it was equivalent to a US degree... a million forms and the best part of $4500 later (not including flights etc) and I was here!!
