JHalton
Just posting this to find out what your render sizes are which are good for print. I render at the largest size I can. 3100pixels wide at 300dpi. This gives me a 100% print @ 26.25cm wide. (This is with VRAY) Can everyone post what they normally do which makes clients happy! Whether for brochure or banners, wall posters etc... Thank You Guys!! James
STRAT
i rarely need to print higher than A3 brochure size. so i render out at 2000x1500 px at the standard 72 dpi. looks great up to A3, and also can be decently blown up to A2 or A1 if needs be. 3dp
if it's max you on (or in) check the print size wizard ......max5 design extn or viz 4 there are also scripts in scriptspot that take the headache out of this i also recommend splitting a large render either by network region render or virtual viewport nothing woese than a render crashing out half way through doing this means you can pick up some of the pieces
John Dollus
I usually render out at half the target dpi and full physical size. Depends on the output, though. For photo imaging such as slides, full size and full res. With sublimation, half res has always been just fine.
