Brian Cassil
Not all of us have 2 computers to work on... yet http://www.cgarchitect.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=000295;p=1 Since there are almost 90 other people in the same office I have to try and look busy. Clean my desk, ummm... or maybe meet with someone about next project. By the way. Eu sempre ficou supreso a ver tantos brasileiros (e portugeusos) aqui. trans - I am always surprised to see so many brasilians (and portugeuse) here. Victor Erthal
Well, sometimes i look by the window, other i try not to kill one of the trainees... but mostly i start to model on the other computer...
Craig Ramsay
I render on other machines so no rest for me i'm afraid... maybe get a glass of water, im off the coffee
STRAT
i use cinema 4d, so when it's rendering i just continue modelling as per normal. unlike max, cinema 4d's architecture is such i can do this. i can even test render at the same time if i want. all this without noticable performance loss (shed load of ram helps tho)

Josh1587140445
At work I either do some research, clean my desk, or paper work if I have any. (I am crossing my fingers that I get a new workstation with dual processors) At home I go and watch TV or go to bed. :ngesleep:
psyanide
Research, that's a good one, I do that too. Read/participate in newsgroups, look at relevant web sites, and read related mazazines/books on software and hardware.

alexg
Rendering means PS2 time!! Gran Turismo or Tetris !! That's why we get PS anyway
Greg Hess
I just chat on mirc, aim, or check the various forums while she renders. (A huge advantage of dual monitors...watch on one, do other stuff on #2). Btw if you do have a dual proc machine, you can allocate one cpu to max copy #1, and the other cpu to a second max copy, and continue to model while rendering. Its not as efficent as C4D's system, but its still possible.
nuno
You are a renderer and you get to sleep? since i dont have 2 machines or whatever, i choose to render (finals... not test renders of course) during the night. next day its ps time, right? cheers
