Munz
Anybody know of any magazines that talk about trends in CG architecture, how are innovative architecture firms evoling in the design process through the use of software. Tom
STRAT
i dont know of any specifically, but it's a great concept to come up with. Jeff, how about a monthly or bi-monthly cga mag?
gulgamesh
The memory's a bit hazy on this one but I remember a few years ago picking up a mag called 'Archit' I think... the only reason it stood out for me was a superb cover on architects diverging into game design, ILM etc. I've never ever been able to track it down... it wasn't exclusively CG but it was more of an 'outfield' coverage of what was happening with architects... If anyone for that matter can tell me where when and how I can find it again I'm all ears. Derm
Munz
So what do you think CGarchitect admin... highend 3D put out a nice magazine, how about a publication for architectural computer graphic...don't know if the market is there? Just thinking out loud...
Jeff Mottle
I'd love to do it, but I'm not sure there is a large enough market to warrant the expense...not to mention the money and resources required to pull something like this off. Guest Gleggers
A first issue could always start life as a supplement within another, already established magazine - something like AJ or Blueprint? Perhaps such an idea would help test the water?

nisus
This idea has been proposed before. I loooove the idea, but I do got my doubts... Cgarchitect has been up for a year and a half and does have about a 1000 members. In my opinion this is the only site/portal on cgarchitecture. We need more people/members to get such a magazine rocking... What kind of articles will get featured? Same kind we got in the news here? Tutorials? etc? Personally, I'd prefer to do a book on arch viz first rgds nisus
Cubicspace
Architecture Business & Economics http://www.archbizecon.com This may be the magazine you are seeking. It was introduced to me recently by a Freelancer.
John Dollus
Magazine's are notoriously expense to produce and take quite some time to deliver as well. by the time you receive the issue, the news bits are quite old by today's standard. Cadalyst and Cadence are computer-architecture-business related, but most users from here would probably not find much that interests them. The Architecture in Perspective gallery book is published once a year and is a fantastic publication for rendering content. Artists from all over the world are published there. Jeff Mottle
Nisus, Go to www.asai.org. They are taking pre-orders as they need to ensure there enough interest before they can publish this year.
