Jeff,

I gotta say that I love the choice of desk furniture, IKEA EFFECTIV, birch. Our office could be a showroom for IKEA office furniture. ;) [i’ll post pics here if I can figure out how to post pics to our host web space. ] IKEA, descent stuff, cheap prices. All someone needs after visiting IKEA is a little elbow grease and your good to go.

nisus, great environment you have to work in. are those concrete floors? Nice and minimal. Looks conducive for a productive team orientated office

That was a beautiful place to work in, Nisus. I will try and dig out my own pics of the workplace too, not very pretty i am afraid though. One thing, anyone needs to do good work is the correct kind of environment though. I particularly like the uncluttered, spacious, ordered appearance of your workplace though.

Gare,

This is after a 90hour work week. Usually there is nothing on top of the desks. I have a couple builders/developers who design "over my shoulder". That is where the lcd projector and Screen come in handy. Normally the projector is out being used for courtroom presentations under rent. I am fortunate enough to have some architects who I only communicate with over the web ;) This allows me to get away with a dirty office for a day or 2.

Thought I would revive an old thread. I spent most of the weekend reorganizing and adding to my office. I've posted a before and a couple of after pics. I just hope the heating to the upper floor does not suffer too much. :) Damn heating plenum in the wall was interfering with the holes for the toggle bolts for the uppers so I had to "reshape" the formerly circular pipe in the wall to a u-shape, with the aid of a long screw driver and some muscle. LOL.
