camby
After reading the review of RPC's autos I was curious if anybody out there is using the software in their work. If you have, it would be nice to see a few images using the cars. http://www.cgarchitect.com/news/reviews/Review006_1.asp
Jeff Mottle
Hey Camby00, If my client can make up their mind and decide on the final detials I'll post the image I have done. I have actually done all of my rendering in Lightscape, rendering only the RPC content in MAX, which was then composited in Photoshop. With any luck I should be able to post something in the next few days. Cheers,
Cesar R
hi Jeff, regarding the rendering of PRC and cardboards for scenes rendered in LS as well as background seen though window opening behing glass, how do you aproach that?. In other words, do you render the LS file and then compose the backdrop in Ps (if so how do you preserve the alpha of the glass). the same quesiton for the poeple cardboards and RPCs. Jeff Mottle
Hi Casar, Sorry I missed this one. I'm not quite sure if I understand your queston. If you are refering to the glass in the automobile RPCs, then yes when you render out an alpha for the cars the transpareny is preseved. When you drop it onto a LS backroung plate, you will see your LS scene. It actually works pretty well.
