Hi Samp,

Suprisingly I don't have a television set. I haven't seen an entire television program for over ten years now. But I go at least two times a week to the movies! Although I've never been more than five times a week to the movies (unless during the film festival of course).

Might seem strange, but I got some priorities: I don't want to see any pauze during a movie nor want to be disturbed by phonecalls, doorbells,...

I don't listen to the radio either. I just don't like all the adds and stories that you're forced to see/hear on those machines. I want to hear full cd's without being forced to listen to stories of any regular -but very unknown! - guy's favourite colors or breakfast cereals.

I just don't get it why people accept this on the air, nor why they think it has to be that way. Or worse: why they love it this way...

Got simulair ideas - not too normal - on cd's, mp3's, software and other stuff too but I guess you don't want to hear it.

Anyway besides these irregularities I'm just a nice nisus ;)

/me not realy a fan of radio either ...

And also I don't like commercials and other junk on television, but hey, who does?

Cinema is not realy my thing ...

I'd rather go to a good friend of mine, where I can watch a movie, also on big screen, and not have to cope with all that noise from people eating chips or popcorn!

Another something I like to see on tele are programs concerning "the making of ..."

Just because I'm very interested in special effects, especialy CG effects.

I have a question too, Nisus.

Do you work in weekends? Because you don't have a computer at home but you post here

Not that I think that's strange, cause you are a young man, having your own company...

Do you take lot's of free days? Or are you a workaholic ? ;)

Hi all,

samp: I do 7/7 12-16hours a day, bit less during the weekends... this is also free time of course, because I like to learn new stuff... tutorials, software, scripts etc...

And I don't suffer from popcorn-eating neighbours in the cinema on a monday or sunday night... There are hardly ten people in the theater, all sitting in the back while I sit in the front/middle... Very nice, silent and often scary... Saw the Mothman Prophecies lately... brrr... ;)

strat: lol

quizzy: what is the tick?

Depending on my mood, here are my favorites:

#1 Southpark!

By far one of the funnies shows ever. The movie was great too. Cartman rocks.

#2 Best Damn Sports Show Period!

It's absolutely hilarious. Get a recap of all the sports of the day, plus some funny skits and commentary concerning sports. Getting my woman to watch it with me is a WIP. biggrin2.gif

#3 Simpsons

A classic by all means.

There isn't a single thing on TV I enjoy watching just now. I've even started looking at CGArchitect at 9/10 o'clock at night while my wife watches a "hard hitting drama" or two.

I have been watching reruns of The Fast Show lately.

Occasionally things like Horizon (a UK popular-science show) are quite interesting. Grand Designs is quite good too.

I am a fan of ER and have been watching it since highschool.. Man 9-10 years, although i think its starting to lose its charm. I also watch the Aprentice when time permits. And of course the News - "Newsnet" channel dedicated to 24/7 worth of news, most of it saving kittens from trees, nothing all the contervercial happens here like in the states..

The Family Guy rocks! But the only TV show that I MUST watch every week is LOST - it's soooo addicting. What really ticks me off about it though is that it's almost half commercials. Part of me wants to just wait till they release the seasons on dvd and watch them all at once, but I am not that patient.

i started to watch lost, but i missed a few episodes after the girl and guy were kidnaped, so i stopped watching. i thought about going online to see if i could find the episodes i missed, but decided i should work on other things.

I have never seen lost. I loved Twin Peaks & I have heard it's simular. I really only watch Simpsons, Arrested Development & Scrubs. I don't have cable. we do watch a bit of PBS when I am not working. Lots of Teletubbies & Baby Einstein.

Fortunately my kiddo is only 10 months old - he's not really into the tele yet, so I'm king of the remote (unless my wife is home). Our favorites are Lost, Alias, Desperate Housewives, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Ties up our Sunday and Wednesday nights. The rest - well, you can always find an episode of CSI or NCIS or JAG, though JAG has kinda faded from our favorites. Oh, Amazing Race just started its new season - that's good to watch from time to time.
