plastic
with tree shop you can easily plant trees (plane mashes with opacity-mapped bitmaps) into your scene. each tree is an 'intelligent' object which allows later interaction, like changing/randomizing size, aligning it to the ground (gravity), changing orientation and map (tree type). NEW: now with interactive 'Look At Camera' mode. its great fun watching the trees turning to the camera in the viewport, in realtime. screenshot: get it here: http://plugins.marclorenz.com/treeshop like all ml_plugins it comes with an un/installer. have fun, and please drop me a line if you like it... quizzy
it looks great, but the only thing i think is (i didn't try it yet...)that if you have multiple camera's you have to reassign the trees to the active camera...
nisus
Hi mark, Quizzy got a good point, especially if people run a multiple camera videopost setup overnight Looks great! Does it run in max3.1 too? rgds nisus
plastic
quizzy: thats right. i will probably add a turn-trees-to-current-view-when-rendering mode into the next version. not too soon though, i want to focus on my railing script for now... nisus: sorry, no 3.1 support. keeping compatibility with multiple versions is a pain. all my scripts work with max 4.2, 5.0 and VIZ4.
