kid
Hi, I'm trying to make a pedestrian ramp which has to rise 3800mm @ 1:14 rise. I got as far as this: The problem I'm having is that the overall length of the ramp is about 55m, and there has to be a landing every 9.5m, how do I make this ramp object have more than one landing? Is it possible, or do I have to stick together 4 or 5 of these single landing ramps at shorter lengths to make up the 55m ramp? Thanks Archicad gurus :angerazz:
plastic
use the mesh tool for this. it's like the slab tool, but allows you to move each point vertically. it can be controlled in the 3d window. i use it for terrain, variable height walls and ramps. Paul Griger
hi kid, i'd either do as plastic says or i may be prone to use a down and dirty method of using a roof object for the ramps and a slab for the landings. stairbuilder has it's limitations is this case, and some others come to think of it best, paul
