Guest gonny
anyone know if it will be able to create more complex geometry? it's a shame archicad doesn't create free form surfaces
matt_vinoir
well, you can always create the freeform stuff in viz or rhino after you've done everything else in archicad. However, it is difficult to know where you are with archicad when it is brought into viz. The good thing with rhino is that is better for geometry than viz, therefore it is easier to transfer 2d plans into 3d models etc. Try the free demo. stefkeB
ArchiCAD would be released on 21 november (or was it october?) in Belgium. Freeform? Well, boolean modelling is possible but no NURBS/BEZIER type of surfaces, unless you speak GDL. Release 8 is a good new version
