garethace
NameWiz is a fast and easy way to rename files en masse. Select any group of files in a folder and do what you want -- change the file extension, make all names lower/upper case, replace or delete characters, add prefixes and suffixes, or replace the names altogether with sequential names of your choosing. NameWiz is particularly useful for managing graphics files downloaded from the Internet or saved from your browser's cache. http://softbytelabs.com/Frames.html I have also linked a few useful guides/references/applications here, on the similar topic of file management: http://www.cgarchitect.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=000021#000004
