William Alexander
Salutations and Seasons Greetings, Ended up creating a tutorial, from an inability; to explain how I have been working with split face CMU-Brick-Cut Limestone. By using just typed words, of replies to this forum topic: http://www.cgarchitect.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000723;p=1 Viz/Max Based It's a beginner to a little beyond level, I'm guessing. Addresses the skills to take an image and apply other maps with a second map channel. Using a 2x4 (cmu) stacked image, simplicity. Covers -Using a bitmap for a base image (cropping) -Coloring using RGB Multiply & Noise (alpha) -Mask (mortar joints) -Mix -UVW Mapping on two channels, running bond alignment to vertical faces of a -archyspeak-"platonic solid".
