bigcahunak
Very nice. Any idea about he techniques used here? It looks like pics from a history book mapped to surfaces.
Christopher Nichols
A really cool idea. So simple, yet I enjoy it every time. They did something like it on AMC (American Movie Classics channel) with a Hopper painting coming "to live." It was really breath taking. My only problem is that there is some excess movement in the animations in this one, and it is too fast. The same "mistakes" that you find is typical architectural animation. nisus
Hi all, The techniques used are but a very simple camera-mapping (without opacity mapping on all objects), very often used in feature films today. If you want to learn this technique, be sure to check out the DvGarage Camera Lab Vol.1 rgds nisus
seismograph
it's canoma like, because you can see "stealed" textures behind objects... really simple and amazing!
