STRAT
friends i plead with you, go down load this simple program. it's the best thing i've seen since the acme brick generator. http://www.lysator.liu.se/~kand/caustics/ it's a free caustics generator program. creates seamless loops of swimming pool style caustics. wonderfull stuff! quizzy
hey strat, I don't know if you use MAX, but its also "easily" done with a gradient ramp map with added noise. The noise phase is animatable.
STRAT
you're right M, max will, and yup i do use it. but using viz wont animate textures (well viz 3 dont, dunno about viz 4) anyway, this takes out the hastle all round!
quizzy
Yep thats true.. I think VIZ4 can't animate textures either so.. But if I can, I use procedural textures..(resolution etc..)

As architect is always very complicated not to use the same texture in every render so this reeeaaally makes some difference in cutting work time.
