Fernando Lino
Hello. There is any way to use the same line in different viewports and scales but the lineweight change with the scale. Example: If I have an elevation in 1/8”=1’ and a blow up 1/4"=1’ ..I’d like that the lineweight change depending of the scale. Thanks!!
Kerry Thompson
Hi Have a look at creating a display representation for each view scale - define one with the correct lineweights for 1:96 and then a second display rep with lineweights defined for 1:48. Fernando Lino
Hi Kerry. My question is in general...the same sheet with different viewports...I use the same color for details and they have different scales butI'd liket the display...It doesn't matter if there are AEC elements or lines. Thanks
muzzy
Hi, If you use layouts for plotting, in the layout page setup menu right under plot scale, you will see "scale lineweights" check that mark. I haven't used it bu that should solve your problem.
Fernando Lino
Hi Muzzy I already tried this way, but the values are not relatives with the viewport...these values are for paperspace (scale 1=1). Thanks you
Camen
If you are not using ADT 2004, have a look at it. This thing is extremely different from 2002. I have a copy of the 30 day trial and it rocks. But, I have used it on my old machine and it will not link to VIZ 2004 like it is should. You need the horse power. I think they have made it extremely intuitive for standard building design but you really need to know how it works to do anything beyond that. For example, I have a dining room floor that has several curves and straight lines but I don't know how to easily model it. I have to admit, it is awsome for everything that is straight forward.
