bigcahunak
Hi revitians. First Q in the revit area for me: I just recieved my new Revit copy, which I ordered about a month ago. I got the 5.1 CD, but I have a 12 months free upgrades. Should I install 5.1, authorise it and continue from there? Or Should I just download the 6.0 Demo and authorize it with the serial I got on my 5.1 CD? Or Anything else you guys can offer (maybe just stick with 5.1 for a while for any reason?) Tnx in advance. Oh, and BTW: I also posted the same Q in ZOOG so...
Arnel
Welcome aboard Big. I would suggest to stick to 5.1 for a while and have a grasp of the program. Once you have downloaded 6.0 you can also install it together with 5.1 with out overwriting any previous file but make sure your content file directory are not the same path. I've been out here for a while and most of my time is now concentrating revit doing some exciting designs. I can assure you that you will love revit more than any other program. Welcome to the real world of BIM.
bigcahunak
TNX, but by now I already installed 6.0 right from the start, without having 5.1 before that. Registration was no probs also. But... so far I didnt even had a spare minute to start learning it... TNX
