autocad models sizes to viz

i have modelled a building comprehensively but viz cannot insert it. after breaking it up to pices and importing and merging it became difficult to asign materials. the programme shuts off and as such i have not been able to render even a shot. the total vis file size is 133 875 kb. how do i get my model rendered

it is possible that your computer is havning a hard time handleing the model. You said that VIZ is just closing out on you?

 

What are some of the specs for your computer?

the specs of my computer are hp pavilion ze 5170, 512mb ram, 40 gig, 2ghz speed and 32mb ati mobility m6 graphics card

that acad model is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. you must optomise it.

 

can you post a picture of it pls?

i agree with straat

thats a huge file.

but with your computer spec, i think thats not a problem.as long as your hardisk have enough space.

 

:???: maybe the procees of the importing to the Viz is a problem.

and you must remember to save the .dwg file not to the newest CAD version.

is depand of your Viz program you use.

if you still use Viz 3 and less version i guarantee that the file .dwg is can not be import.
