M_Jaco
Hi all Is there a quick way to attach my lines to the pavement so that the lines should curve the same way as the pavement? The pavement has a lot of lines and is uneven would be very hard to work with each line separately Thanks

STRAT
i normally draw a 3d spline that follows the contour of the terrain, then use max's/viz's SPACING tool to get my line or road markings to follow it.
eagle
try using compoud/shape merge to merge the line shape onto the pavement, then select the merged faces and detach them.
M_Jaco
Thanks all for replying Wendelld, the glue plug-in did do the job , but adds a lot of vertex to the splines start, your way of doing this is good for a terrain that's curved in only one direction x or y, however if it's curved in both the x and y it will not work (correct me if I'm wrong) eagle, the compound/shape merge is great, but Ted's idea of mapping is good to keep the poly count down Ted, your technique of mapping worked the best for me cuz your avoiding the extra polygons Thanks
