Dan J
I'm looking for anyone who is going or is thinking about attending the conference this year and might want to share a room. I'm a decent room mate- I don't have any rude habits, curtious, fairly likeable after morning coffee, don't loose it after a few drinks, keep decent sleeping hours and don't snore ( though my wife will say I do from time to time). I'm willing to spilt the cost of the room and even sleep on the floor if need be, but at a reduce rate I hope. I went last year, met several folks at the party, had a great time ( thanks Jeff) and was hoping to make it again this year. Let me know. Dan J
Randy & all, I don't have anything lined up, but there are some hotels available. It seems the conference selection of hotels are slim. You could get a room at one hotel for a few days, then move to another for a couple more, but that would be a hassle. The least expensive seems to be out near the airport (3+ mile away) or further out, avg. $60 per night. Closer in the more expensive 1 mile or less $80 - $350+. I did find a couple around $80 per night within 1 mile of the convention center. I generally like to stay close to the conference, but I'm willing to go for a less expensive hotel, but we would probably need to rent a car and pay extra to park, gas,....... Still interested? Which days are you planning to attend? I am planning to stay most of the week and I would a definite answer from everyone going by this evening so I can make arrangements. Let me know. Thanks.
