Victor Erthal
Hi guys! This is a sort of Lan House/ video game/ children's room for a residential building in Rio. ITs inspired on some cartoon spaceship. C&C are welcome!

muzzy
Very nice rendering and design. I want to be a kid in that house. Do they need a child at 27 ?
Ernest Burden III
What is the point of the recessed circle? It has a slight material change and a set of downlights, not the recessed glow you might expect. Also, since this looks to be a prototype of an orbital habitat, wouldn't computers be integrated into the structure, rather than floating free (especially if the station spin slows down)? Fernando Lino
I like it....but, this little home theather needs a bigger TV....I'd go to 42" tv projection.
Victor Erthal
Strat - Thanks a lot, it is just a still image, maybe ill animate it later. Muzzy - hey! I want to be there too. There'a a Plastation2 on the room! Ernest - Well, acctually theres no recessed light, only downlights. The idea was to look like a teleporter station, or something. Unfortunately the constructor dont want to spend lots of money and wants to use standart equipament. If the station spin slows down we are going to have a big problem in our hands with al those armchairs flying around!!! Btw, i have in my office a book named "Entourage" Is that written by you or your father?
Ricardo Eloy
Nice image, Victor! Like the lightin and the model, but I agree with Fernando about the TV screen...Don't be so cheap, get one of those you see in superstores! [] Rick
kainoa
RENDER: The rendering itself is nicely done. What software? DESIGN: Cool. What material would the grey walls be made out of? All of the chairs do not look comfortable at all. Chairs that are comfortable to sit in for hours is a must for gamers. The PCs look outdated. And yes, the TV is way too small - my 2yr old watches Barney on a bigger one than that.
Victor Erthal
I agree with you guys about the tv, it should be really bigger. but the client says: "IM SHORT ON BUDGET!!! I CANT EFFORT THAT!!"... (for someone who can effort the construction of a residential building that souds a little unlogic) Kainoa - The walls are made of alluminum plates (ACM?). I think the chairs could be more comfortable, ill try to change that, but i disagree about the red armchairs, i think theyre ok. (not that i spend hours playing playstation). ok ill ask a game-adict. The render was done in final render stage1 but is still in progress, ill add more quality for the final image. Thanks a lot for all the crits. You guys helped a lot! kainoa
If i were your client, I'd get rid of the red arm chairs for some cheap beanbags (probably alot more comfy). Use the savings to buy a monster plasma.
