salf
This is a model of a beverage kiosk for a park, stills a WIP, dont mind the RPCs, they're home made , they need more Photoshop work to get rid of the "white border". Is a pretty basic render because is a test, final ones will have better background, and more modelling. C&Cs are welcome. Modelling in AutoCAD, rendered with VIZ 4 and VrayFree. gnuhong
Hi Salf, Texture wise, I think there are several things that need adjustments, such as the ground and the wood pattern (which is a-bit stretched right now). Lighting wise, looks okay to me. Regards, gnuhong
salf
yeah, youre right about the texturing, the ground texture is not final, just a test, not even the real map im gonna use, however i dont know how to fix the "blur" sides of the ground, it looks like it happens because the camera angle, the ground map tends to "stretch" or "blur" near the edges. And as for the wood, im gonna keep on tweaking it, it does looks stretched out, but if i dont do that, ill see the "pattern" in the mapping, ill try to find a mid point. Tim Nelson
You might be able to fix the ground texture this way: Right click on the viewport corner. There should be an option that says 'texture correction' or something like that. Make sure its checked. Seems to have worked for me in the past. Da_RoCk
hello there, i hope this can help. can u lower d values of the chairs? and the others i agree with what they say. regards. PS. i think it would be a great add-on if u apply a little bit of reflecting materials.
Jason Matthews
Hey Salf, Try this. Go into the diffuse map of the ground material. Scroll down the menu until you see the tiling attributes. Just below that, there is a blur value. Turn that down. I think the default is 1.0. Also, make sure the blur value on the left is set to 0. salf
Another update, it was meant to be finished today, but the deadline got rescheduled.....again.....so i might have time to keep on tweaking it. I did try the advices about the ground texture "distortion", i did notice a little improvement, but overall, the ground mapping stills blurring near the edges of the camera view.
