Josh1587140445
I am just curious on how you archive all the new textures you create for each project. Do you keep all maps in a master filing system? Or are they saved within each individual project folder?
Sawyer
I have a really big folder called maps. It has all of max's standard maps plus a few hundred. Each tries to sleep with it's own kind in its little folder but there is lots of sleeping around. Maps seem to propigate and move and hide. So I also create a project folder for each project. I have a folder for maps, cad, max, renderings etc. Then if I notice I am using a material a lot (on more than 2 projects) I save the texture to my material library. Hope that helps. nisus
Hi Josh, We keep one HD with all kind of maps. At first we search this databas eand select one, next we use the collector tool to get only the maps in use in a per-project directory. Very handy workflow. rgds nisus
