archkre
I happen to do an anim. for a Hotel with a fountain in the entry, how do I find a tut. on how to do the water from jets w/particle systems? Please!!!
mbr
Try a search on here, although the tutorial isn't for 'jets'. RPC has some nice animated fountains that look really good.

spyder2411
It pretty much all depends on the type of fountain nozzle that you're trying to create. The PDF tutorial has a nice waterfall effect, but if your trying to do rings or pirouette nozzles you just have to play with the gravity contstraints on the spray systems. I always used normal sprays rather than the super sprays due to numerous jets. Also, don't go too wild on the water material applied to the spray as it will slow your render time down, especially on animations. Thou shall not raytrace sprays bro. If you are looking for a "frothy" type, I'd suggest you look into the RPC fountain collection. Just a note, I was the 3D designer for a Custom Fountains for 5 years, so I did a few of them. I hope that helps you.
