anybody knows how to setup a conference with realtime screen display?

I want to discuss a problem in a drawing online with my friends (party meeting or a client), so I open my my drawing and they can see part of it (or whole) in my desktop. the problem is it must be reltime (streaming video screen capture). Is there any solution to this? i think moving the web camera against the monitor is not a wise solution, what do you think?

-----GHETTO SOLUTION----

hmmm.....dunno if this would work well but:

I frequently use RAdmin (Remote Administrator) on network slaves. What is cool about the program you can run a window (program calls it remote admin viewer) that looks at the slave's desktop. So what you could do is load the window on your friends computer (without him moving the mouse b/c it will affect your desktop) so he can see what you are doing. You can control the desktop color depth mode (256 colors, 16 million, so on). It's not bad over my cable connection when I connect to outside computers. Only drawback I guess would be your friend would have full control of your computer just as you do (if you are logged into windows as an admin accout).

This is the only way I can think of. BTW - it's really cool to watch somone else control your desktop - it looks like your computer is possessed with demons or something.

thank alot guys.

with netmeeting, i've got a nice blue bang screen with some typo few days back, so i won't see it maybe in a couple months before i solve the problem. I've downloaded the VNC but got no time to spend yet, i'll try it later. Thanks for the info, haidar.

Xavier, what i tend to do is show only PART of my desktop, not a whole. Does it posible to do with remote Admin? Dual monitor can solve this? just wondering...

one thing that can work VERY WELL is using a POLYCOM teleconfrence call system. Both parties have to have them (no substitutes work with them as far as I know) but they hook up to tv's, computers, vcr's, etc, so you can pretty much do any kind of conference you can think of. We use it all the time to do tele/video conferences with the National Science Foundation...
