Ernest Burden III
Crop up, too much foreground. Can you raise the mountains a little? They are so close to the rooflines that they hurt reading your roof shapes, and then you don't appreciate the mountains. Actually, can you remove the buildings and just leave the mountains? The left car is distractingly reflective--a polished copper Bimmer? Can you remove the lamp-post on the right, nearside of the street? While accurate as a mate for the one across the sidestreet, I don't think it helps your picture because it cuts the buildings too heavily. Great people, except for the biggest one. Iain Denby
Too flat. Your sun position is almost at 45 degrees, so consiquently there is no contrast from one face of the building to the other. Move it to the left or right a bit.
markf
I wanted to be finished with the image, my time estimate was used up. I felt as always that it should be as good a possable for portfolio etc. I liked all of the suggestions and made some changes. I wil post the image in the work completed section of this forum. I wonder why my post has so few reads and replies compared to the rest Thank you guys for your time and comments.
