jucaro
How does one change the units in ACAD and still keep the correct measurements? Or is this even possible? Can I use one unit (say Architectural Units, Feet-inches) then change to another unit (Decimal, meters) and still retain the correct proportion/measurements? Da_RoCk
Ey, JC. i think u can. the actual conversion factors can apply. inches can be converted to metric by scaling it to something like .0254 or something like that.
CAD
Or you can just modify the dimension settings of your current dimension style. Enable 'alternate units' from there. Say if your working in metric, choose 'architectural' as alternate units. This way you don't have to worry scaling your drawings. regards,
