Brett
I have run into a problem where Max 6 stops drawing. I can’t draw anything and I have to restart my computer to get drawing back. Anyone else having a similar problem? Thanks Brett
abicalho
What do you mean by stop drawing? What video card do you have and what video driver are you using in MAX? Have you tried using other video drivers in MAX (Software Z-Buffer, OpenGL or Direct3D)? Alexander
tenderfoot
must be video memory problem, does it happen only when vieport is cluttered with tons of polygons? openGL is graphics mode setting that works best for me.
Jim Mann
I have this problem, it usually when I am doing lots of click and drag actions with vertices. The machine completely locks up and the only solution is to hit the restart button. I have tried numerous different drivers and settings for my Quadro 4 card but this never solves it. It did get slightly better after I installed the nvidia max thing (sorry but I can't remember what its called) but it still happens. I had the same problem all the way through Max 5 and now with Max 6 though it only happens on the machine with the Quadro 4 installed. If you discover the solution, I would be very interested to hear from you. Jim
