IC
I did some drawings for a friend who wanted to convert her garage to a kitchen/dining room. Thought I'd do some interiors for her too but I don't know what she'll think of my material choice.

Jason Matthews
I think there is too much contrast between the the cabinet doors and the cabinets. The copper is just too strong for my tastes. Part of it could be the scale of the copper. Try shiny aluminum. For some reason wood and metal is difficult to combine.
salf
oh!, is it copper?
Crazy Homeless Guy
where is the fridge? ...you are breaking up the 'triangle' by moving it to another part of the room. i unless she has faux wood counter tops right now that she is planning on re-using, i would encourage you to select another material. try a different window covering. the room looks small and squatty. the shape of the window is not helping this at all. ...and the curtain/blind treatment it has makes it look even more horizontal than it already is. if you could come up with a vertical window treatment, i think it make the space feel taller. ...is the space short, or is it just me? ...if this is her garage, it might be kind of fun to leave the floor untouched to emphasize that it once had another use. ...or you could stain the concrete. it would rally emphasize the fact that this was not always what this space was intended for. IC
Thanks for the comments everybody. Will try to take them on board along with "client's" comments. The fridge is outwith the triangle because the door into the room is opposite it's current position and it would feel intrusive as you walk in if I put it where it should be.
