Interior Perspective

This is a little rendering I did for class. It was done in max 6 with MR. It's my first time using MR for something other than trying to fingure out how to use it.

Any comments would be great. I realize that the wood texture is noticably repeating. Any suggestions on a hardwood floor texture?

Thanks

Aaron

Hey Aaron. I see some issues with the rendering. I am not a MR user, so some of the issues may be that. For your floor texture, try to open the image map in photoshop and make the image bigger by copying the texture a few times.

The brick texture looks too flat. And the texture on left looks too large. Mortar joints are huge. I guess the whole thing looks flat. Reduce some of the reflectiveness from the floor. The table needs ambient light on the leg. I guess it is just MR. Sorry I cant offer more help.

Hey Aaron!

Ive never used MR, so I cant help you with settings and stuff... but I think your lighting needs some work. The image seems very "non-GI-ish" and flat at the moment.

oh, and I cant see the lightsource that brightens the white/gray brickwall...

sorry that I cant be more specific about the lighting... but there are other people here that knows MR so Ill leave it to them...

good luck
