Jeff Mottle
Hey guys, I'm looking into organising a get together at SIGGRAPH, more specifically a Birds of Feather gathering. I need to book a room if I do this, so I need to know who thinks they may be coming and if they would attend. If I do pull this together, I will try to arrange a few guest speakers, perhaps some vendors and people on our industry. Refreshments and snacks too if I can, but I'm not sure yet. If this is of interest please let me know ASAP. If you would be interested in presenting or know of somebody who would, please email me. Jeff Mottle
Hey John and other SIGGRAPH goers. I'm still working on the specifics and will make the announcement by the end of the week. It's not looking like this will be a full fledged party will food and berveages A/V etc, as I have so far been unable to attract any sponsors, and CGarchitect just doesn't make enough to pay the ticket for such an event. So....I think it will end up being a simple meet and greet. Location to be determined, but most likely a SIGGRAPH hotel. The other alternative would be to book a restaurant, but this would be an RSVP only and pay event and there would be a deadline for the RSVP so I can finalize the catering. Let me know what you guys think. The latter may not be an option, but if people are intersted let me know ASAP!!!
quizzy
Well if i'm coming over to san antonio, i would prefer a togetherness in some kind of pub where we can meet greet and drink beer...hehe
John Dollus
I'm all in favor of a meet 'n greet. RSVP and catering is going to give you headaches. I would rather you spend your time working on this site Monday afternoon would work great as the exhibition starts on Tuesday. When are most people getting into town? Anyway, just make sure it isn't Sunday night. That is when the Max forum meets. John D

Brian Cassil
Hey guys, this being my first siggraph that I'm attending I was wondering if it would be a good idea to share our schedules for the convention. I say that because I didn't even know about the max forum on sunday eve which is something I definetly want in on. There may be other stuff we could share as well.
