Arkitec
I need to create a circular stair. Not a spiral stair, only a stair that arcs about 60 degrees. I used the straight stair and used a bend modifier, however, the the stringer and handrail renders straight...... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Arkitec
Tiny Piney
The handrail and stringer are straight because there aren't enough faces in the object. You have to increase the number of faces to make the bend mod. to work. You can do this through edit mesh.
STRAT
you can use viz's spiral stair case modifier ideally for this. you can curve it 60 degrees if you want. doesnt have to be a circle. i've used it numerous times for instances just like yours. play around with it
mattclasvegas
If the stairs and handrails are still boxes or extrusions-- you can increase the segments.
