jtiscareno
I think that Accurender counts as a 3rd party renderer too and for a simple to use program sometimes it can deliver very good images, specially using radiosity and a light dome (UV Eclipse). I have been using AR3 for the past 7 years. I like to finish the images in Photoshop to add entourage and/or do some photomontage if required. Tell me what you think of the images. C/C welcome. Thanks!

3dp
ahh yes happy memories of accurender 1 betas just beore i jumped ship to 3dsmax i was using facade/accurender via autocad and getting resonable results although the "look" of accurender became a reason i jumped ship in the end i notice there is a accurender 4 beta out but i'm stuck in the world of max/maya now so i won't be going back nice images and a trip down memory lane for me
GaryR50
That last interior render was pretty sharp, Azkit. What does Accurender cost, by the way? Gary
mwhite
Here is a rendering that I posted previously on the SU forum. It still needs some tweaking when I get a chance. I have used trueSpace, 3ds and Accurender now and I love Accurender for interiors. Mike White
STRAT
that final image is lovely, but as with all these images i wouldn't much rate the radiosity/gi
jtiscareno
Gary, thanks for the comments. I think AR3 is around $500 for one license. And I think that AR4 is going to be about the same. Still don't know when it will be released.
John Coleman
I like Accurender because it works within AutoCAD. I can build the model and test it right away.

aaron-cds
Not to be snide, but I've yet to see photo-realism from accurender. Even when it comes close they still look computer generated. If it's easy to use and the clients like it, then go for it. I don't care for the first four at all, but the last one is great. I love the composition and the reflections. With less people, it would be a very powerfull graphic.
castroman
azkit, good images. but if you import from autocad/revit into viz/max, you will be amazed. accurender is good for quick viz work, where you have limited time. it also allows you to create a view of the architecture that is more abstract, and that is sometimes good, cause things change often during the duration of a project. also the last image is good, but too many people and I would drop the ones that clearly are taken outside(people with sun on their faces). Another thing to remember is that if you have a great model, with great architecture(like this one) then the image will look better. now if you where to take that model into viz, I can assure you that the image would shine.
