jonek
Hello! I would like to ask for some help how to configure motion of pistons inside of car engine? Motion of piston (its position) depends of position (rotation) of crank shaft There is a few problem to fix 1. how to restrict motion of piston and keep it sliding up and down on one axis only (eg. restrict to Y-axis) 2. how to configure "element" between crank shaft and piston (sorry I dont know correct english name) - motion of that element should be restricted to two motions - bottom part restricted to rotation of crank shaft and other end restricted to one axis motion only 3. how to connect two motions toghether - end of "element" and piston to avoid distortions between objects I would be very happy for all advices! Frosty
I would go ask on CG Talk if I were you....and study up on Kinematics and Xpresso. The features you're asking about, most people here dont use on a regular basis.
leed
The best way to explain this is through a small test file. Have a look at this and if you have any questions let me know. Lee
