Crashed
I have recently moved from MAX 5 to MAX 6 and also use Autodesk ADT extensively. I understood that MAX 6 was to incorporate all VIZ4 features but the File Linking seems to be missing? In MAX 5, I used a plug-in to link ADT files to MAX. Anyone know how I can get this to happen in MAX 6? Any help would be much appreciated.
Craig Ramsay
File linking was removed from max 6 until they make it more stabel/reliable. It will be available for max 6 in one of the next extension releases.

siliconbauhaus
It's a real shame that this wasn't made free to all registered max users. I didnt bother with the subscription when purchasing max and I found out that I cant join the sub programme now.
abicalho
Autodesk cannot release free items containing new functionality like this one due to SEC regulations. The Subscription program is the way Autodesk uses to comply with the regulations and still provide new functionality between releases. Sorry to hear you didn't sign up for it.
