Want to shoot a section but tis not workin

Hi I want to render an ortho section from a 3d model which cuts down the middle of a street.

 

I have tried

 

1 Setting a camera to orthographic projection, and then put clipping manual to cut through the middle of the road, looks fine on screen but nothing comes out in the render.

 

2 Tried putting the camera on the section line with orth turned on then increase the FOV to like 160 but this time its rendered everything ie both sides of the street.

 

I know I can probably drag the camera back 10km but there must be a way to make ortho setting on a camera work properly.

Clipping Manually does not work together with ortograpic view option of the camera.
