alanmac
The plug ins are fine. I purchased Cinema 4D 8.1 and upgraded to 8.2. and I also upgraded my Vectorworks to VW 10. Works fine. Please note the details of this plug in from the Maxon site. At the moment it only works in one direction, from VW to Cinema, including file updating. I understand they are working on a bi-directional plug in at the moment. I wanted to use a better rendering program than my current one, Artlantis. Cinema certainly is very good although far more complex, but that is not a criticism. Bound to be because it can do so much more. The plug in comes when you buy the "Cinema 4D for Vectorworks" package. Don't know if you can buy it seperately. Its basicly the standard Cinema with an additional CD with plug ins and some extra textures. Don't bother contacting Vectorworks on this, it's all the responsibility of Maxon. Ace_Face
The plug in comes when you buy the "Cinema 4D for Vectorworks" package. Don't know if you can buy it seperately. Its basicly the standard Cinema with an additional CD with plug ins and some extra textures. The new ArchiCAD plugin costs $79.00 US. so I would guess the Vectorworks would be the same. If you purchased it with the package it's in there.
alanmac
I've taken off the link I put on with the plug in download because I have been told by a Maxon employee that it is not for free distribution and I don't want to do anything illegal. I have let the relevant web site know, although I'm surprised as this is not a crack or warez type site but a named Vectorworks site. Maybe they will clarify and if okay I'll post a link. Sorry for any confusion. Alan
