Background Images

Giday,

 

what is the best way to place a background into a scene. Do I place a plane and add a photo or is there a better process where you can achieve the same goal?

I now do this via photoshop......is it better to do it via CD4 or ?

i have tryed that but once done what next......it only allows me to change background colours........or am i missing something here.....id like to add an image like a digital photo of trees and mountains

just create a new material with your desired photo in it and apply it to the backround object.

This is all covered in the manuals - pg 383. I suggest you keep the manuals next to your desk if you are a new user.

Thats what I have been doing.....just thought there maybe another way around it
