rgardner
Hi all, Still being relatively new to the CGI world, and having got to grips with the basics through self learning I have been given the green light from the boss to go and get some "proper" professional training. Anybody on these boards have any experience of Authorised Autodesk training centres for VIZ training? I am from Essex so anything within 50 miles or so would be preferable. I have contacted a couple (Aztec and micro concepts), and seem to have caught them both off guard that somebody actually wants training in this application, which I found suprising and slightly off putting! Could anybody share their experiences with them or any further advise? Many thanks
3dp
to be honest the best way is the plow through the tutorials yourself a course may cost £4-500 per day and basically they will only rehash the baseline tutorials on the viz/max cd's (but if you have a employer who will pay then go for it but make sure it sinks in with a lot of practice afterwads) and from experience myself when it comes to aec markets very few people who retail the software will have a background deep enough to go beyond the basics trust me if you are starting out now it's a whole lot easier to get the ball rolling than it was in 1995 when i started and whatever eay you choose you will always need to learn and research practice to improve your skills
